Here I've tried to make a phonetic translation of some important Norwegian words. We don't really have sounds for all of them but I did the best I could in about 5 minutes. I might add some more later.
Remember: you need to roll your Rs
Hello: Hei (hey) or Hallo (hah-loo)
Goodbye: Ha det bra (hah deh brah)
How are you/how's it going?: Hvordan går det? (vore-dahn gore deh)
Thank you: Takk (talk)
Hi, my name is...: Hei, jeg heter... (hey, yie heter...)
I need...: Jeg trenger... (yie train-gyer)
Chocolate: Sjokolade (shoo-koo-lah-deh)
